Back To Basics

I have a strong dislike for the modern Coach bags with their patterned logo plastered all over. A million girls all carry the same hideous Coach tote and wristlet and I really don't see what the appeal is. I thought the brand had always been churning out uninspired Louis Vuitton wannabe bags until I found an old Coach bag of my mom's from maybe twenty years ago. There was no ridiculous fabric logo, just a small leather-stamped tag quietly proclaiming that it was actually a Coach bag. I was completely shocked.
I guess maybe there are more people like me who prefer the old, less mainstream Coach because while I was searching for vintage bags online I found a link to Coach's new "return of classic favorites" where they revived some of their original handbag styles. Ironically, I find the old bags much fresher than their recent creations. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually want a Coach bag.
