Ever since Burberry featured studded belts in their ad campaigns about a year ago (and again on their spring 08 runway), I've been wanting one to offset my generally preppy wardrobe. I think they're ironically edgy when worn sans thick black eyeliner, vans, and teenage angst. I stole one from my boyfriend's younger brother, but have been looking for one slightly thinner, maybe with just one row of studs instead of the usual three.
After searching for studded belts through Google, and ignoring results from Hot Topic and Pacsun, I found three really cute options on the Levi's site. I especially like the "skinny pyramid stud belt". But I don't know... even though Blake Lively approves of the stud trend, I'm still a little unsure.
Is it cute, or just too Avril Lavigne?
